The Second Exodus
"About 3466 years ago God performed an amazing miracle when He freed a slave people from Egypt and made them a nation in their own right. The crossing of the Red Sea was another tremendous miracle that the God of Israel performed. Each year, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread we commemorate the deliverance of our people Israel from Egypt, particularly with the Night to Be Much Observed when they first came out of Egypt with a high hand. We look to that event because it is a type of our own spiritual lives, our coming out of this world and our exodus out of Satan’s world into the Promised Land of God’s Church. The Feast of Unleavened Bread concluded with this climactic event – the crossing of the Red Sea! Just as the first Exodus occurred in 1446 B.C., it is also going to occur again with the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on this Earth.
